What We Offer
One-on-one travel training: A RideWise staff member will work with you to create a personalized trip plan and practice your route with you, helping you get to your destination safely and confidently.
Group transit trips: Group trips are designed to help people feel comfortable with the transit system in a social, relaxed environment. A RideWise staff member or volunteer will guide your group through your public transit trip and answer any questions along the way.
Support for educators: We provide technical assistance and support for those providing transit training in the classroom. Support can range from staff fare assistance, to presentations, and more.
Frequently Asked Questions
Training is provided by our qualified and experienced Travel Trainers. All of our trainers go through a strict screening process and receive extensive training before working with our customers.
All training and related support is provided at no charge to older adults (age 60+), English language learners, and people with disabilities living in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington Counties.
Our travel trainers will provide training anywhere in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties, at a time and location that is convenient for you.
Older adults (age 60+), English language learners, and people with disabilities who live in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington Counties are eligible to receive training.
