  • Mobility Specialist - Bilingual

    Mobility Specialist - Bilingual

We have built and continue to develop programs that allow us to provide the best option for each individual, suited to their level of need.

    We are looking for someone who has a desire to impact our ability to provide more transportation options in the community by becoming a Mobility Specialist - Bilingual.  

    As Mobility Specialist - Bilingual you will be co-located with social service resources in an effort to provide wrap-around supports to eligible participants. The Mobility Specialist will serve as the Ride Connection representative at multiple Latino non-profit organizations. The overarching goal of this effort is to provide for a coordinated, comprehensive approach to enhancing an individual’s knowledge and ability to access appropriate transportation options independently..

    Required Qualifications
    • BA Degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.  Additional education may be substituted for experience, and educational qualifications may be waived depending on work history
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is it relates to public transport
    • Demonstrated skills in group facilitation and effective public speaking

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with Portland Metropolitan area public transit system
    • Working knowledge/experience with paratransit eligibility processes

    We are looking for someone who has a desire to impact our organization as a Human Resource Specialist. The HR Specialist assist in developing and managing with all aspects of Ride Connection’s personnel, initiatives and strategies.  The HR Specialist is responsible for assisting in the agency’s recruitment, performance management, employee relations and benefits. Working in collaboration with other team members the HR Specialist ensures that all Human Resource activities contribute to the satisfaction and performance excellence of employees and managers.

    The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the development and oversight of all aspects of the Service Department; including but not limited to Service Center, direct service programs and travel training.  The Chief Operating Officer works independently and manages multiple projects assigned by the Chief Executive Officer pertaining to the management of the Service Department.

  • Driver - Washington Co

    Location:
    Classification: Part-time

    Do you have some time on your hands? Do you like driving? Do you want to give back to your community? We have a job for you. Ride Connection is seeking part-time Drivers for Washington County; including Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Tualatin and Beaverton. They will provide safe, reliable and courteous transportation services which may include older adults and people with disabilities. This position only requires a regular driver’s license. Shifts may start early in the morning and run until 10 pm, 7 days a week. Shifts will be created within those times. This position will have various hours depending on availability and location. We are looking for a trustworthy, dependable driver with a sense of humor and passion for helping people in our community lead more independent lives.
