Who can use Door-to-Door Services?
Currently we provide door-to-door services for older adults and people with disabilities.
How much does it cost?
The service is provided at no charge, although donations are needed and greatly appreciated.
How do I get started?
Call our Ride Connection Service Center at 503.226.0700 or TTY: 7-1-1 (Oregon Relay Service). Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. We'll need to ask you a few questions about your mobility needs to get you set up to start using the service.
How do I request rides?
Once established in our system, you can submit requests by phone or in certain cases via our online ride request tool. In order to give us enough time to schedule your ride, please contact us with requests at least 4 business days in advance. Although we work hard to meet every customer's needs, due to limited resources and driver availability, we may not be able to fulfill all requests.
RideAbout shuttles have been established in a number of neighborhoods in Multnomah and Washington counties. Each RideAbout is designed with feedback from local community members and makes regular visits to grocery stores and community centers as well as recreational trips.
Shuttles operate on different days and visit a variety of locations depending on the neighborhood. Drivers will gladly offer assistance with shopping bags, if needed.
